The Bodum Brazil is the original — a single-serve French press built for the ritual of one good cup, brewed without paper filters or plastic capsules.
The 350ml carafe is shaped from stain and heat-resistant borosilicate glass, framed in a lightweight BPA-free plastic housing with the Bodum wordmark at the base. A stainless steel plunger and mesh filter draw the grounds cleanly to the bottom, leaving the oils and aromatics where they belong. The push-on lid keeps heat in while you wait the requisite four minutes. There is something quietly satisfying about a coffee maker that asks for no pods, no power, and no instruction manual.
It arrives in a printed Bodum gift box, which means it does the unboxing work for you — useful for client gifts and welcome packs where the brand on the base says one thing and the brand on the box says another, complementary, thing. Pad print or imitation etch decoration sits at 30 x 35mm. Hand wash recommended, given the print.
